1. REGISTRATION && GETTING STARTED

Register with a first and last name. Middle name is optional. Please make sure to correctly capitalize your name as well. Do not register with something along the lines of "wolfgirl88".

1.2 •» CHARACTER NAMES 2
Also, if you aren't playing a canon character, then DO NOT use any of the famous canon last names. I know some of the canon characters have common last names, so those are okay to use. I'm talking about Potter, Weasley, Malfoy, etc. I think you get it, =]. Now, if you are dead set on using one of these names, register normally, but change the last name to "Smith" or "Johnson", then PM an administrator why you want to use a famous last name. "Because I want to." Isn't an acceptable reason.

1.3 •» TOPIC TITLES
The title to your application should be your last name first, and then your first name. Ex.:

1.4 •» COMPLETING THE APPLICATION
If you are unable to finish your application at the time, please put "INCOMPLETE" in the topic description. An administrator or moderator will move your app. to the incomplete section. After you're finished completing your application, simply post a reply to your topic and someone will sort you. Please DO NOT post anywhere until your application is complete and sorted.

1.5 •» CHARACTER BUILDING
No one is perfect. Neither is your character. Please be realistic. You can always have your character act perfect, but, of course, deep down, they aren't.

1.6 •» FACE CLAIM
So, you've been sorted! Now what? Probably your best bet is to claim your face. Sounds funny, right? If someone has already claimed the face you want, check and see how active they've been. If they haven't been online within 3 weeks, and they haven't posted an away message, then PM an administrator and ask if you'd be allowed to use that claim.

2. ROLE-PLAYING

Obviously, there is NO GOD-MODDING. You cannot make decisions for the person you are RPing with. It is acceptable to say:[/ul]

Bellaluna was waiting in the common room for Ginerva to arrive. Students filtered in and out of the room.

or

Bellaluna was sitting in the common room when two housemates entered, bickering about who they thought was more attractive.

Make sure that you (parenthesis) anything you need to say out-of-character on your RP post.

2.3 •» STUDENT RELATIONS
Remember, Slytherins don't usually get along with.. well.. anyone else but students from their own house. This doesn't completely mean that you can't RP with other houses other than you own. Just remember that it doesn't happen often.

2.4 •» DEATH
Please do not decide to randomly kill your character. If you have started your own plot, and this is how it ultimately ends up, just let an administrator know ahead of time.

2.5 •» THE PLOT
You may know the plot and whats ahead, but remember that your character does not.

2.6 •» SWEARING
Your character is allowed to swear. Just don't get too creative with words.

2.5 •» INTIMATE RELATIONS
I have to ask that you do not RP sexual scenes on the site. This means that your character is allowed to make-out and fool around (with moderation), but NO SEX. Jeesh.[/ul]

3. OUT-OF-CHARACTER AFFAIRS

I shouldn't have to say be respectful. But I will, just so it's here. Not everyone is going to get along with everyone else, I know that, but if you have an issue with someone, keep it inside. However, if something escalates to a point that you can't handle anymore, PM AN ADMINISTRATOR. We will take care of it.

3.2 •» ADVERTISING
Got another RP forum that you want to share with everyone else? Go ahead and post it in the Advertising section. Just make sure that the said website links ours back too.

3.3 •» POSTING
Please, please, PLEASE do not double post. The only place this is acceptable is in your plot pages, biography, etc. But in general chat or RPing, use the edit button.

3.4 •» STEALING
This one is a no-brainer. Don't steal. If you see something and want to use it on your forum, just PM an administrator, we don't bite, we won't be offended, and we won't blow you off.
